First, thank you for stopping by and checking out my cosplay site. It has been a labor of love and a bit of a learning curve getting my website up and running. I’ve taken some time off from cosplaying and prop building for the last two months to focus on my health and help work through a few personal issues. After realigning some priorities and recovering from surgery, I’m feeling more and more able to get back into one of my favorite hobbies. I figured one way to get back into it was to chronicle my latest costume and prop builds for others to read and enjoy.
Over the past weekend, my wife and I hosted our Mando clan’s armor party. We had a few of our official members and foundlings stop by with their armor kits in various stages of completion or in the process of being repaired. It was a nice way to ease back into armor building and provide some words of encouragement to keep our foundlings motivated as with all cosplay builds, ‘it’s not a sprint, but a marathon.’ By the end of armor party, I was exhausted, but motivated to get back to work on my own projects.
This week I’ll be working on finishing up repairs and updates to my Mandalorian armor and completing some props for the trip to Joliet coming up. I can’t wait to post some progress pics.
